The Wich Haus, located in the heart of Whitefish, is a cozy, farm-to-table sandwich shop featuring local, seasonal ingredients in sandwiches, salads, prepared foods, haus-made bread, and frozen custard.

Ellie and Orion Heyman bought the restaurant almost two years ago and have transformed it into one of the must- try restaurants in Whitefish! Seasonal, local ingredients, paired with Ellie and Orion’s background in fine dining, bring sandwiches to a whole new level. We especially love their vegetarian takes on sandwiches such as the carrot pastrami and their ZLT (crispy strips of zucchini for a twist on the traditional bacon, lettuce & tomato).

When asked why they value local, the Wich Haus said, “There is a great variety and abundance of locally-produced ingredients to work with here in Montana! Especially in the summer, we are able to source the majority of our menu needs from local farms and then preserve those goods to use throughout the year. Plus it makes for better eating – the quality is unbeatable!”

It’s more than a meal. When you support Abundant Montana restaurants, you support the farmers who ensure long term food security in your town!
