Mustang Fresh Food, located in historic downtown Livingston, was founded in 1997 by Carole Sullivan to offer the Livingston and Bozeman area a casual yet elegant setting for gourmet comfort food. Their ever changing menus highlight Montana’s plethora of natural ingredients like local grass fed beef, bison, and lamb.
When asked why they buy locally instead of from large suppliers, Carole said, “It keeps everybody sustainable and in business. We all need to support each other! We purchase local ingredients whenever possible, especially proteins to avoid the big meat production facilities and the raising of meats/chickens in inhumane ways. Bison is especially important to us as they are more sustainable for the environment than cows.”
Last year Mustang closed their dining area due COVID-19, but created Mustang Market to offer fresh and frozen takeaway dinners along with “Friday Night Dinners for Two” so you can enjoy Mustang at home while they wait to reopen for dine-in service! It’s more than a meal.
