Topics will include “Backyard Composting: As Easy As Following a Recipe”, “Urban Trees – The good, the bad, and the not so pretty”, “What’s Bugging Your Garden?”, “How to ID that Tree”, “Grow Your Own: Backyard Berries and Superfood Small Fruits”, and “Urban Agriculture and Soils Health: Challenges with Urban Soils”.

The speakers are MSU & MSU Extension experts Ms. Kaleena Miller, Ms. Abi Saeed, Ms. Noelle Orloff, Ms. Sarah Eilers, Dr. Zach Miller, Dr. Eva Grimme, and Mr. Bradley Holliday, Community Ag Specialist, USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service.

The 30 available will be filled first come, first served. A registration fee of $85 will be charged per participant and workshop. Lunch, snacks, and refreshments will be provided. Please register by August 9, 2024.
