Prep before class
There are a lot of food safety principles to cover in a short amount of time the day of the class and exam. To improve your chances of passing, you are encouraged to read the book before arriving for class.
It is beneficial to complete the diagnostic and practice tests and quizzes provided with book after registering. For questions you miss, it is helpful to reread the appropriate section in the book.
The ServSafe® Food Protection Manager Certification Examination Examinee Handbook is available at https://bit.ly/4dmlpwo for your review. This guides students through the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Examination and responsibilities as an examinee. Information about requesting accommodations is included in the handbook. Please note an exam accommodation requires advance notice of at least two weeks and must be approved prior to taking the exam.
After class
It takes approximately two weeks to receive the exam scores. The passing score is 70% or higher. Certificates will be emailed/mailed to those who receive a passing score.
