Running a ranch is about more than cattle, land, and markets, it’s about people. Families, spouses, neighbors, and employees are at the heart of every decision, and as Allan Crockett says, “Every problem is a people problem.” Ranch life brings unique challenges: generational transitions, family disagreements, hard conversations about money and land, and the daily stress of trying to handle it the best way you know how.
This one-and-a-half-day, in-person conference is designed to help you navigate those very challenges with tools and strategies that work in real ranching life. You’ll walk away with practical ways to be the leader your ranch needs, improve communication, strengthen teamwork, and find common ground in tough situations. More than that, you’ll connect with others who understand what it’s like to live and work in family ranching: people who know the weight, the responsibility, and the heart that goes into keeping an operation strong.
This is your chance to step away from the daily grind, gain fresh perspective, and return home with clarity, confidence, and renewed hope for the future of your ranch.
It is strongly encouraged to bring your whole family so everyone can hear the same message, gain the same insights, and head home ready to work together with a shared vision. To make that possible, a tiered ticket structure has been built that keeps it affordable: $675 for the first person, $100 for a second from the same ranch, $75 for a third, and $50 for a fourth (up to six total).
