If you had to evacuate your horses or livestock today, would you know where to go? Would everyone load in the trailer? Would you know how to ID them and be able to show proof of vaccination or ownership? Are you prepared for the extreme case of a barn fire?
Equine and livestock emergency preparedness is essential because it saves lives, reduces harm, and ensures faster recovery when disaster strike. Being prepared minimizes chaos, allowing individuals and emergency responders to act quickly and use resources more effectively. it also strengthens community resilience, helping everyone bounce back stronger and safer.
On Thursday, June 12th, participants will rotate through hands-on 25 minute mini clinics throughout the evening. Come for part or all of the educational opportunity. Light dinner and beverages provided at no charge!
