Hosted on a working organic farm in Montana’s Golden Triangle, the day centers on a live demo of the Einböck Aerostar tine weeder across lentils, chickpeas, and wheat. Together, you’ll look closely at what actually matters in the field: timing, soil moisture retention, disturbance, weed pressure, tine setup, and how these systems perform under real dryland conditions.

The day will also include presentations and field walks with the Deakin family, sharing their farm story and transition to organic agriculture, a demonstration of their AgOpenGPS system, perennial wheat test plots in collaboration with the Quinn Institute, and compost extract and compost carryover effect trials currently underway on the farm.
