7th Annual Celebration Friday • September 13, 2024
HRDC Market Place • 5pm tours & drinks • 7pm dinner & program
Celebrate our extensive and diverse local food community and the open land that feeds us, ‘belly & soul!’
First held in 2016, this grassroots event connects, recognizes and celebrates the diverse network of people working in our local food system and offers a casual, fun, meaningful way to deepen our understanding of local food systems.
This year, as our community continues to struggle with growth and a rapidly accelerating affordability crisis, Celebration offers a chance to hear different perspectives on food security.
Join us!
➙ Network with people actively involved in local food systems, including farmers, health professionals, community leaders and those affected by food insecurity.
➙ Hear new perspectives on food security from neighbors and students engaged in expanding access to nurturing foods.
➙ Consider ways to increase access to fresh, quality foods — as locally grown as possible.
➙ Enjoy a special menu prepared specifically for this event by Fork & Spoon.
To ensure everyone can afford to join this community gathering, tickets will be available on a sliding scale.
