The Old Salt Festival stands on its own in the long buildup of Montana festivals as a celebration of land stewardship through food, craftsmanship, and music, and three chef teams will be cooking meat from livestock born, raised, and processed here in Montana by Old Salt Co-op. Headlining the food aspects of the festival are Bozeman’s Eduardo Garcia of Montana Mex, Portland’s Mona Johnson and Jaret Foster of Tournant, and Baltimore’s Spike Gjerde of the Woodberry Kitchen. Music headliners will be: The Last Revel, Emily Nenni, and Summer Dean. The Old Salt Festival is also known as a hot spot for makers, artists, writers, poets, and educators. Their ‘General Store’ will feature nearly 40 vendors with handhewn goods and a few dozen non-profits supporting conservation and education in the American West.
Ticket prices are $89 per day or $170 for the entire weekend. VIP tickets are available for $490 for the duration of the festival.
