This is a virtual farmer-led networking event for Montana producers with the NRCS-partnership program, America’s Conservation Ag Movement. The event dives into the connection between conservation and historically underserved communities, sharing perspectives from local and national farmer-innovators, such as what regenerative agriculture looks like on a thriving sovereign nation, as well as how some conservationist leaders are moving the needle in their communities, advocating for more inclusive agricultural programs. Speakers include leaders from NRCS, the Oklahoma Association of Conservation Districts, Black Historical Research Project’s CARE program and regenerative agriculture in the sovereign nation, the Iowa Tribe of Kansas and Nebraska.
