The foundations of the KLR school were established alongside Bud Williams, who introduced the Sell/Buy approach to ranchers in the USA. Rod Knight, Grahame Rees, and Jim Lindsay returned to Australia after spending time with Bud in 2003 to develop the 5 KLR principles that form the curriculum of the KLR 2 ½ day school.
