Homesteading simply means producing some of your own foods. Whether you have a window sill, backyard, or acreage, you can improve you physical and mental health by growing, preserving, and creating healthier options, even on a budget.
In this workshop we will walk through the full process of preparing the preserve, water bath canning and getting the preserves on the shelf. Demonstration recipes will cover fruits, jams, and marmalades.
While the jars are processing in the canner, we will put together some easy food gifts from the homestead.
