Border Farm has a drying room filled with herbs/flowers that they collected during 2024/25. 

In this class Border Farm will be covering your favorite herbs to grow for culinary and medicinal purposes, and also the herbs they treasure that are wild harvested. 

They will be discussing 

• different parts of the plants that are usable
• best season to harvest and why
• how to prepare
• uses – culinary, tinctures, salves, tisane, tonics, oil infusions, jellies, oxymel
• wild foraging techniques. 

The class will conclude by making tea blends from some of Border Farms favorite herbs they grow here on the farm. You will walk away with a lovely tea blend, more knowledge on how to combine herbs, different ways to use them, and an idea of how to start building your own herbal cabinet. They will have their personal library of resources available at the class to look through and take pictures of. 

There will be additional tea blends, herb salts, spices, seeds available for purchase
