Everywhere you look, someone has an opinion on what you need to do to have a better life. We incorporate evidence-based practices from mental health with regenerative agricultural practices to form our Homesteading for Healing initiatives. We want you to have enough information and skills to better control the quality of foods that will improve your mental and physical wellbeing depending on your unique needs. We are not licensed nutritionists nor medical doctors; however, we want to help you make decisions as an informed consumer. Ideally, we hope you will enjoy growing and preserving your own foods and will experience the health benefits for yourself.
April is the perfect time to get your garden going as we need to do things to extend our growing season. During this workshop, you will get hands-on experience of creating your own seed starting medium, planting seeds, and exploring an array of gardening options and equipment. If you need a jump start to get your gardening going (big or small), join us in April.
