Fermented Memory

Food is full of history and stories. And each and every one of us has a relationship with food. Over time, we develop and collect our own stories with food, forming an amalgamation of our own personal experiences, the collective stories we share culturally and historically, as well as the intersection between our stories. We will take time to dig up the food memories that really eat at us and turn them into a short piece or scene, using the lessons from fermentation as a guide along the way.

​We will be making kimchi together, so please bring a glass jar (roughly 16 oz) so you can bring a jar home!
