Learn to source local food and prepare it for baby. The goal is to Connect farms, farmers market vendors, CSAs, and farm stands to consumers. We will discuss the benefits of fresh produce and food. You will get recipes, a local food source list, and resources for making baby food. Join in to participate in cooking demonstrations and activities such as boiling, steaming, sauteing, blending, and pureeing. We will explore root vegetables like carrots, greens like spinach, Brassicaceae like cauliflower, as well as dinner foods from your table.
