Farm to Fabric: Montana Fibershed’s Fall Gathering
Join us in Bozeman for some in-depth, hands-on learning of fiber processing. Develop and practice specific skills on the path to creating your own locally-grown fiber piece! Let’s strengthen friendships, share knowledge, and continue to build our fibershed community. We welcome you to join us on Saturday regardless of whether you attended a workshop. Shop for fiber-related items at our Market, and stop by for a demonstration!
Sunday offers two spinning workshops for advanced beginners and up – note that Sunday workshops will be at a different location near Bozeman.
Saturday Schedule at 521 East Peach Street:

8:30am – Workshop attendees begin to gather

9am to 4pm – Pre-register (tickets below) for one of three workshops: Flax Processing (all day), Wool Fiber Preparation (all day). All Saturday workshops are for ALL SKILL LEVELS.

9am to 4pm Marketplace and Fiber Demonstration – free & open to the public

9am to Noon – Pre-register (tickets below) for one of two spinning workshops: Learning to Spin Flax on a Wheel, or Learning to Love Long Draw Spinning both spinning workshops are for ADVANCED BEGINNERS AND UP.
Note: workshops run concurrently each day, so register for only one workshop per participant per day.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations before August 25th, 2026 will receive a full refund, minus the processing fee. Cancellations before October 11th, 2026 will receive a 50% refund, minus the processing fee. Tickets are non-refundable after September 12th, 2026.
If the cost of a workshop is a barrier for you, we invite you to apply through Ozmet Art Foundation for their Yes Pass. Ozmet Art Foundation directly funds participation in workshops, camps, and community-based programs by covering costs on behalf of individuals and families.
