Cooking & Healthy Eating Classes

The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) offers free nutrition classes for people who:
• Feed youth under age 19 in their household (or are pregnant and will be feeding youth) OR are emerging adults ages 19–29,
AND
• Currently receive (or qualify for) benefits such as SNAP, WIC, free or reduced school meals, TANF, or similar programs.
All classes are free to attend. You will find a short registration form and current class schedule for upcoming classes at the bottom of this page.
In all our classes we will explore:
- Eating healthy
- Increasing physical activity
- Creating healthy meals using the Instant Pot
- Keeping a well-stocked pantry
- Stretching food dollars
Typically a confirmation email will be sent to you a few days after registration. However, this registration page will be unmonitored July 29- August 10, so a confirmation will be sent after this time period. Virtual classes involve meeting on a virtual webinar each week with fellow classmates and instructor to review and discuss that week’s topic.
Class graduates (those who attend at least 5 lessons) will receive a free, new Instant Pot upon completion of the series!!
