Billings Free Nutrition and Wellness Class

Join MSU Extension for a free nine-week cooking, nutrition and wellness series offered by The Expanded Food And Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP). This is a federally funded grant program for limited income families that feed children or individuals who will have children in the future; and that receive or qualify for SNAP, WIC, Head Start, TANF, Healthy Montana Kids, etc.

Classes meet once a week for nine weeks. This series runs continuously so you may join any week. The Eating Smart Being Active curriculum is used. Topics include menu planning, stretching your food dollars, MyPlate, food safety, label reading, feeding children, mindful eating, becoming more physically active, knife and cooking skills, etc. We will prepare a new recipe each week to sample.

You will receive a small kitchen gift each week. You will receive a new Instant Pot when you finish the series.
