Join Golden Triangle Resource Council for a Soil Crawl at Faltree Farm in Loma! “Soil Crawls” are public events where we gather to explore the soil health on our members’ ranches and farms to learn what we could do to improve its resiliency, productivity, and microbial activity.
At Faltree Farm we’ll learn about soil composition, tour the farm, and hear more details on the newly forming Great Falls Food Hub.
The free Soil Crawl is Saturday, July 13 and will begin at 12:30 pm running until 5 pm. There will be mid-afternoon nibbles, but we will not be serving lunch.
After the Soil Crawl, there will be a memorable Farm-To-Table dinner hosted by Nick Larson of Faltree Farm and Sarah Manuel of Farmer Meets Foodie. The four-course foodie experience is inspired by Montana’s local agriculture.
Tickets to the dinner are $86 per person if purchased by June 23, and $95 per person if purchased on or after June 24.
