Harvest of the Month Tasting Event: Cooking with Potatoes!

As part of Harvest of the Month (HOM), the Butte Food Co-Op and AgCorps-NCAT will be hosting a tasting event featuring this month’s local food – POTATOES!

THE MENU:

Our recipe this month is a roasted potato and root vegetable dish (with two sauces to enjoy) – YUM! We will be using all sorts of fun locally- and regionally-sourced foods to make this delicious late fall / early winter dish.

Our locally sourced foods include

  • Tera Rosa potatoes, Russet potatoes and carrots from Harlequin Produce
  • Parsnips from Ploughshare Farm
  • Golden beets and yellow onions from Rocky Mountain Produce
  • Sage from Wild Plum Farm
  • Cheese from Lifeline, sourced at Dancing Rainbow in Butte
  • Honey from Beaverhead Honey Company, sourced at Western Meat Block in Butte

This event is limited to 8 attendees, so registration is required.
