UM Western Dining Services is interested in buying from MT-based producers whenever possible.  With the short growing season and cold, dry climate of the Dillon area, the main obstacle to obtaining local foods often comes down to finding producers who can provide enough quantity of product to accommodate the UM Western student body of ~1500, plus faculty and staff.
