The Producer Partnership is OPEN FOR BUSINESS!
We are ready for your animals!

The Producer Partnership was founded in the Spring of 2020 with the mission to end hunger in Montana. One of the goals of the program was to own and operate Montana's first ever federally inspected processing facility. This goal has been accomplished and we are ready and open for business. The new facility has the capacity to process 3,750 animals, generating approximately 843,750 pounds of meat with the goal to end hunger in Montana and allowing for expansion and delivery to all Montana schools.

The statement we are able to make of, "we are open for business" is a game changer, it is an opportunity for producers to give back through the donation of an animal to be processed and the meat to be distributed to our Montana families that are struggling with food insecurity. In return for the donation, the donor receives a tax letter equal to the pounds of meat donated. It’s a great program for local producers to donate cull animals that would otherwise be worth very little through auction houses.

Montana has 3,000,000 cows. With a cull rate of 8% that is 240,000 animals a year. We are looking to take in 1,000 donated animals annually. With an average of 350# an animal we would be able to have 350,000# available year. We need your donation to help end hunger in Montana.
