Missoula

Ten Spoon Vineyard + Winery produces wines from its eight-acre, certified organic vineyard just north of Missoula, MT in the Rattlesnake Valley. The French-American hybrid grapes include Marechal Foch, Frontenac, Leon Millot, St. Pepin, St. Croix and La Crosse.

The land around the vineyard is managed for wildlife habitat. Hungarian partridges, songbirds, hawks, eagles, mountain lion, bear, coyotes, foxes, hares and whitetail deer pass through. Owners Andy Sponseller, winemaker, and Connie Poten manage the vineyard and winery using sustainable practices. The vineyard prospers from long sunny days, good airflow, drip irrigation and rigorous pruning and trellis attention. The winery and equipment are cleaned daily, the wine micro-filtered to make sure it lasts years in the bottle without little or no added sulfites.

The tasting room is open to the public April – October, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and is a premiere indoor/outdoor venue for private events year round. With plenty of room outdoors, live music, pizza and fine wines, and a spectacular view, Ten Spoon is the perfect place to host your next get together, and our Ops Manager Nora would love to speak with you about planning your next event!
