    The Mission Mountain Food Enterprise Center, or MMFEC, is a 13,000 square foot USDA and FDA inspected food processing facility offering nutritious, locally made value-added food products and alternative protein center-of-the-plate items for K-12 schools, early care and education centers, universities, and large volume foodservice.

    We collaborate with values-aligned producers with the Western Montana Growers Cooperative and Northwest Food Hub Network to supply our source-identified ingredients for fresh and frozen prepped produce, such as carrot coins, pitted cherries, butternut squash cubes, and more. Our catalog also includes Montana Marinara, a picky-eater-approved and shelf stable tomato sauce; the Montana Lentil Burger; Beef Lentil Crumble; and Big Sky Bites (lentil + mushroom meatballs). By providing value-added, fresh, and frozen items, MMFEC is able to keep Montana products on menus year-round, even in the middle of winter!
