Located in the Bitterroot Valley in Western Montana, Hayward Garlic strives to grow the best tasting, most nutrient dense garlic on the market. Our family's history is rich in agricultural heritage dating back to the 1600's in the United States. Our family name, Hayward, quite literally means "keeper of the field". Back in the day in most English towns, the Hayward's were tasked with not only protecting the hay fields but the livestock and crops, too. We do not take this title lightly. Of course, life has changed significantly since those days, but humanity's need for delicious, nutrient-dense foods most certainly has not. We have been proponents of the organic movement for well over a decade, and our farm has been certified organic for the past four years.
Hayward Garlic is predominantly a high quality seed garlic company. We grow a variety of hard and soft neck garlic, available as both seed and culinary garlic, for everyone from the home gardener to seed companies. We also offer U-Pick Flowers & a variety of other produce.
