The Northside Community Garden is one of our longest-standing gardens. Initially, the garden was started by MUD and a group of Northside neighbors on the Helena Catholic Diocese's land. Shortly thereafter, Garden City Harvest joined the partnership and now maintains what is now a thriving garden in the heart of the neighborhood.

Each of Garden City Harvest's 10 community gardens provides participants with a garden plot, tools, water, manure, straw, compost, and educational resources to help them grow their own food. With a little bit of patience and a lot of persistence,  gardening means self-sufficiency, pride, and the taste of a homegrown tomato.
