Ivy Street Garden will be constructed in the spring of 2015. It will be built from the efforts of good neighbors, Nature's Best, Rose Park Neighborhood Council, and Garden City Harvest. Built on City of Missoula underused park land, this little corner will offer a place for the community to gather, garden together, or simply enjoy as they pass by.
Each of Garden City Harvest's 10 community gardens provides participants with a garden plot, tools, water, manure, straw, compost, and educational resources to help them grow their own food. With a little bit of patience and a lot of persistence, gardening means self-sufficiency, pride, and the taste of a homegrown tomato.
