The Fort Peck Tribal Community Garden is located on The Fort Peck SIoux & Assiniboine Reservation in Poplar Montana. We are open to the public and welcome anyone who is interested in gardening, from experienced to beginner, young and old. We have a variety of raised bed planters including new ADA compliant wheelchair accessible planters. Our garden provides an open space with water and some tools available to borrow. We provide seed bundles and tilling services to elders residing on our reservation as well as an assortment of seeds to choose from located in the Phase 3 area of the tribal building. We offer workshops related to general gardening knowledge, beekeeping, food sovereignty and self sufficiency. In the summer we have a free farmer's market that is open to vendors and anyone who would like to give free produce away to our community members. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to our Garden Coordinator.
