County Rail Farm and Field Five Flowers are located in Huson, MT, just west of Missoula. The two acre vegetable operation is run by Tracy Potter-Fins, a queer farmer who likes to throw a good dance party, and loves her farm dogs. Field Five Flowers, is run by Bethany Stanbery, a queer artist, metalsmith, and designer. Field five encompasses not only field five but also many other areas of the farm.

All of County Rail Farm produce is Montana Homegrown as well as certified organic. Most importantly, we believe that good farming means healthy soil and healthy soil means healthy vegetables. Our farming practices cater to the longevity and sustainability of the land, and that’s what matters (not our certification).

We sell a variety of fresh, seasonally available, and storage vegetables, fruit and other produce through the Clark Fork Farmer's Market in Missoula and through the Western Montana Growers Cooperative. We specialize in sales of both bulk and packaged greens under or own label.

We thankful for all the support we’ve received from our great friends, members, and the farming community. After 6 wonderful years leasing land in Dixon, MT County Rail is now on 10 acres of permanent land in Huson, just west of Missoula. This is traditional land of the Bitterroot Salish (Selis), Pend d’Oreille (Qlispe), Nez Perce (Nimiipuu), Coeur d’Alene (Skitswish), and other Kootenai bands including Ksanka and Ktunaxa peoples, and we actively acknowledge and work to make reparations for the rights that were and are violated in the process of our occupation of this ground.

If you’d like to visit, get in touch! County Rail is open to all visitors as long as we have some notice, and we have two AirBnB wall tents available for rental in the off season, if you’re into that kind of thing.
