Nicole moved to Dillon in August 2024, and during her search for local organic produce, she quickly realized the town lacked options in this area. With over 20 years of experience growing food in Montana, she decided to take matters into her own hands. A single phone call to a landowner set things in motion, and now she operates a 4-acre property called Bee Haven Gardens. Bee Haven Gardens is partnered with the non-profit Vibrant Lives, which provides a platform for educational workshops to the public. Nicole offers gardening workshops four times a year, sharing her experience with organic farming practices. Currently enrolled in a graduate program for a Master’s degree in Regenerative Organic Agriculture, Nicole’s vision for Bee Haven Gardens is to create a space where both the local community and UMW students can gain hands-on experience and participate in organic farming techniques.
