Project Hope is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that was founded in 2000 as a food pantry and thrift store. Over the years our services have been expanded, all in keeping with the purpose of serving Stillwater County residents in need.

Project Hope’s food pantry is a client-choice model where customers can "shop" for their own food once per month, with additional food provided at both Thanksgiving and Christmas. We also administer Stillwater Backpacks to county schools, which provides easy-to-prepare food for school children who might not have enough to eat over the weekend.

Most of the meat we purchase is processed locally, and many of our shelf-stable goods are bought at our local IGA. During the summer we enjoy distributing vegetables from community gardens and are hoping to include more locally purchased produce in our pantry.
