Your payment is your agreement to these terms and policies. \nNOTE – once we receive reg/pay there are NO REFUNDS\, the class size will be small so we don’t overwhelm our herd\, and so each person can learn as much as possible. Please make sure you check dates/times before you reg/pay to make sure our GOAT CAMP works for your schedule. SUMMARY:Hay Farm Tour for Horse & Livestock Owners
DESCRIPTION:MSU Extension and Grass Valley Farm are excited to welcome you to the first annual Hay Farm Tour in Western Montana. Whether you’re new to animal husbandry or have owned animals for a lifetime\, you may never have had the opportunity to see a hay field from the eyes of the grower! You’ll learn that growing hay is more like an artistic endeavor than a mechanical process. This is your chance to smell\, touch\, taste and see the product before it reaches your farm. Meanwhile\, you MSU Extension agent\, will guide you through forage analysis tests on each field to understand how those growing and harvesting factors affect your animals. It’s going to be a really interesting event\, so don’t miss out!
