Daily goat chores\, the why’s and how’s of keeping goats\, handling\, and training. (CEU’s thru CCPDT are approved and available with a months notice) \nBorder Farms goats are Alpine/Nubian crosses – they breed them for dairy and packing on trails. All of their goats are handled daily. Each month offers a different focus with their goats besides daily maintenance. Whether this is getting ready for winter\, loading/trail skills\, breeding\, kidding\, milking\, training – we have a full program \n\nmarker/reward training\ncare\ncleaning\nfeeding\nhealth/maintenance\nnatural rearing protocols\nanimal husbandry\nlearning theory\nethology\ntiming\nspace/trust\nhandling skills\nuse of words/consistency\nfeeding\ngear\nkidding\nkid care\nDoe care\nWether care\n\nNOTE – TERMS & POLICY – once you pay you are agreeing to the date and time of your appointment/class. Once you have paid there are NO – refunds\, transfers\, rescheduling. Please make sure this is the correct service for you\, that the dates and times work for your schedule\, before you pay. Your payment is your agreement to these terms and policies. \nNOTE – once they receive reg/pay there are NO REFUNDS\, the class size will be small so they don’t overwhelm their herd\, and so each person can learn as much as possible. Please make sure you check dates/times before you reg/pay to make sure our GOAT CAMP works for your schedule. Again\, NO REFUNDS. \nNOTE – you will receive a detailed outline at the beginning of each month that will be specific to what we will be working on / doing. \nNOTE – upon reg/pay they will send you a liability form that needs to be filled out and completed \nNOTE – no children \nNOTE – you need to be prepared and able to work/dress for work on a farm/listen to directions and follow them. Working with farm animals that are valuable and add value to a farm takes a great deal of effort\, consideration\, and respect.
