Don’t worry\, it won’t be a snoozer! It will be a storytelling session revealing a series of discoveries\, failures\, successes\, and unexpected outcomes sure to captivate and inform even those most uninterested in the lowly weed. \nDr. Dean Pearson is a Research Scientist with the Rocky Mountain Research Station\, USDA FS where he has led a community ecology and invasive species research team since 2005. Dean has a BS in wildlife biology\, a MS in zoology\, and a PhD in organismal biology and ecology from the University of Montana where he is adjunct faculty with the Ecology and Evolution faculty.
