DESCRIPTION:The 16th Annual Ladies Day on the Range\, hosted by Petroleum County Conservation District\, will be Tuesday\, June 9th from 10:20-3pm.\n\nLocation is at 5 Rowton Road\, Mosby\, just off of HWY 200\, approximately 20 minutes east of Winnett. It will be a good location for the bird walk\, and just 5-10 minutes from the Musselshell River Bank Restoration Project tour location on the other side of the ranch.\n\nPlease bring to the event:1. A folding chair (they do have quite a few chairs available if you forget)2. A sack lunch3. Good walking shoes.4. It would be a good idea during MT spring to bring some type of muck boot as well.\n\nThey will provide drinks and snacks.

SUMMARY:Montana Range Days
DESCRIPTION:In 1977 Montana Range Days became the state’s premier rangelands education event.  Since its inception\, over 7000 participants have taken part.  Every two years a new host community joins with statewide sponsors to make Montana Range Days happen by contributing time\, materials\, and financial support. \n\n\n\n\nAt Montana Range Days\, youth and adults of all ages gather for three days to celebrate and learn more about our rangelands\, including plant identification\, soils\, ecology\, rangeland inventory\, and management tools and techniques. Tours of local operations showcase  natural resource management.  Contests allow participants to test their knowledge and earn prizes and other awards including scholarships.
