This year\, U-Pick will take place on September 12\, 13\, 19\, and 20 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 1752 Mountain View Orchard Rd.Like many orchards in the region\, we’ve seen a lighter apple crop this year. Even so\, they’re grateful for the fruit we do have and are excited to share it with our community. Whether you’re continuing a family tradition or visiting the orchard for the first time\, we hope you’ll join us for a day in the orchard and take home some fresh McIntosh apples picked straight from the tree \nWhat to expect \n\n\n$5 entry per family\n5\, 10\, 20\, or 40-pound picking baskets (basket provided)\nPick-your-own McIntosh apples from our designated U-Pick block\nFamily photos and time spent in the orchard\nFresh apple cider donuts and frozen apple cider slushies from our apple cider donut trailer\n\nPrices: Due to limited apples in the orchard from this year’s frost impact and rising input costs\, our per-basket price has increased to approximately $2.00/lb: \n\n5 lb. basket – $10\n10 lb. basket – $20\n20 lb. basket – $40\n40 lb. basket – $80\n\nWhat to Know About Our Montana U-Pick \n\n\nParking is free and available on-site\nNo pets are allowed in the orchard due to food safety requirements\nPortable hand-washing stations are available\nApple availability may vary throughout the season\, and the orchard may close early if we sell out for the day\n\n\n\n.

Tomato variety Name example Estonian Yellow Cherry\n2. Short description example Determinate\, mid-season\, multi-flora cherry tomato\nProvide growth habit ( determinate or indeterminate)\, Maturity rating (extra early to late) Country of origin\,\ntype (paste\, beefsteak\, salad\, cherry\, color) and any other information you would like to share.\n3. Growing conditions example high tunnel greenhouse elevation: 5\,000ft\n4. Growers name and city/county: example Thomas Mater Clancy\, MT Jefferson County\nSend this info to Tanya Anderson via text: 406.431.2399\nemail: tanderson@ymail.com or\nPost: PO box 2093\, East Helena\, MT 59635\nBy 2:00 pm on the day of the festival\, bring your model tomato for visual showcase\, and enough tomatoes to cut into 1/2 inch squares for 100+ attendees to sample\, generally 4 or 5 very large tomatoes\, 6-7 medium sized\, and a few dozen if cherry sized.
