Ravalli County is an agricultural community. For people who have moved to the beautiful Bitterroot, knowing what resources and rights they have can be difficult. No one wants to be a bad neighbor, but without knowledge of water rights, irrigation districts, Right to Farm, and noxious weed identification and management, it can be very difficult. Whether you have owned land in the county for years and are looking to learn more or if you recently moved to the valley, this class will teach you about best land management and hopefully can help you avoid future conflict with your neighbors.
Taught by Commissioner Hulls, Kay Webb of Bitterroot Conservation District, Stacy Welling of Ravalli County NRCS, Kelly Ann Morris of Ravalli County Weeds District
