Please join the 2nd Helena Tomato Fest at Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church!

Are you a grower? Show off your best tomatoes!

At the first Helena Tomato Fest in 2024, we had three growers donate 80+ varieties of tomatoes to taste.
This year we invite local gardeners to share a sample of their favorite varieties of tomatoes

To enter, register by text or email with the following information by September 15:
1. Tomato variety Name example Estonian Yellow Cherry
2. Short description example Determinate, mid-season, multi-flora cherry tomato
Provide growth habit ( determinate or indeterminate), Maturity rating (extra early to late) Country of origin,
type (paste, beefsteak, salad, cherry, color) and any other information you would like to share.
3. Growing conditions example high tunnel greenhouse elevation: 5,000ft
4. Growers name and city/county: example Thomas Mater Clancy, MT Jefferson County

By 2:00 pm on the day of the festival, bring your model tomato for visual showcase, and enough tomatoes to cut into 1/2 inch squares for 100+ attendees to sample, generally 4 or 5 very large tomatoes, 6-7 medium sized, and a few dozen if cherry sized. Cherries will be cut in halves or quarters depending on the size. A display plate and information card will be waiting for to showcase your tomatoes at Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church
