Join us on Thursday, February 6th from 12-2pm for MFB&CC’s first FEAST (Food, Education, Equity, Avocacy, Support, Together) event. FEAST is our way to bring together community members, customers of the food bank, and stakeholders with a community meal and learn together how to connect, advocate, educate, and empower each other.
We will be providing lunch (chili and cornbread!) as well as a presentation we are calling Advocacy 101, which will dive into the root causes of hunger, food insecurity in Missoula, overview of the government, the Montana legislative session, and a recent survey we took of SNAP customers. It’s going to be a jam packed 2 hours!
