Sarah Eiden

Sarah is a believer in place-based food systems aiming to restore connections between communities, individuals, and their ecologies. Originally from Charlottesville, Virginia, her global experiences deepened her passion for equitable and participatory community food systems. In Missoula, Montana, she pursued an M.S. in International Conservation and Development, researching ecosystem services within community food forests and discovering her love for farming as a student intern at the PEAS farm. Currently, Sarah also serves as the Farm to School Coordinator at Garden City Harvest in Missoula, MT. Outside of farming, you can find her exploring Montana’s public lands.
