Our creamery is the eventual result of the hard work, vision, and drive of the Tucker family. Tyler and Kendra began a life of farming after a transformative spell at Die Grune Ecke, a sustainable farm outside Regensburg in Germany. Partnering with Kim and Jerry, Tyler’s parents, they purchased the 84 acre plot in the Bitterroot Valley which today is home to the creamery, the Tuckers, and an array of farm animals, pets, apprentices, and other local business ventures.
Tyler began raising dairy sheep in the hope of opening a high-end sheep’s milk creamery. He first partnered with Stig Hansen, cheesemaker, with Tyler tending to and milking the flock. In 2016 Allison Dembek took over cheesemaking after Stig returned to Denmark, and she and Tyler worked together in shaping and growing the creamery business.
