Founded in 2013, Cultivate Helena inspires local youth through educational gardening programs that foster connections with the community, nature, and locally grown food.

Cultivate Helena collaborates with youth-oriented community organizations, elementary schools and Montessori classrooms to provide custom educational programs that teaches sustainable gardening methods and wellness from eating local produce. Wormshops are one of our highlights and top requests --we bring our wigglers in to educate about the benefits of composting- it can be inspiring and fun! Our "Cultivate Bio-literacy Series" brings speakers, films, and other engaging presenters to keep our young participants' minds growing while our gardens lie dormant.
